RV Spaces in Wenatchee
The Fall Spectacular Futurity and NW Regional Affiliate Finals show is rapidly approaching. By now everyone should have received their show premium and entry forms in the mail. If you have not, forms are available on this website or you can email Janet Hurlburt at jmhurlburt@comcast.net to get a premium mailed to you. The WRHA also wants to remind everyone that RV spots will be assigned on a first come, first served basis upon arrival at the show grounds. It will be especially important for everyone who camps out in the RV area to make sure they are taking up only one space per RV spot. We need to maximize the number of rigs we can fit into the camping area and each space is designed to accommodate four RVs. Please keep this in mind when you are parking your rig and be considerate of your neighbors!
Help Wanted
Experienced freestyle scribes. For the first time, WRHA will be offering Freestyle classes. Scribing for freestyle is a bit different from scribing regular reining classes. If anyone has experience scribing for a freestyle class and is available Thursday evening, please send us an email at WRHA@reinerstuff.com
Several social events will be held throughout the weekend of the Fall Spectacular show, including a Pizza Feed Exhibitor Welcome Party, Dessert Social, and BBQ Dinner. Additional assistance is needed in coordinating the Dessert Social, scheduled to be held on Friday evening of the show. Please contact Jeanine Kern at Jeanine@ebs-northwest.com if you are available to help with the dessert social.

For our Fall Spectacular Show in Wenatchee the WRHA is offering class sponsorships for the buckle classes. The funds received for any WRHA class will be used as added money for that class while the funds received for any NRHA class will be used to replace the WRHA commitment of added money to the extent that it can be replaced with sponsorship funds. Our club plans to use these funds to purchase the final buckle for our special buckle program and also to sponsor two of our WRHA classes- beginner rider and novice horse non-pro in our special $150 class sponsor program for this show.

Thanks to the mother and daughter brainstorming of Terri and Lexi Warren, plans are coming together to offer trophy buckles as awards at the Fall Wenatchee Show, not just for the Futurity Classes, but classes for which we have not offered buckles recognizing grass roots success at the affiliate/club class level. NOTE: There is a soccer tournament in Wenatchee the same weekend as this show. Many teams have reserved blocks of rooms, so you may encounter some difficulty getting a room if you don't book early. There are usually quite a few no-shows from teams who decide not to play in the tournament, so previously reserved blocks rooms are usually made available anywhere from one month to two weeks prior to the show. For example, if you are not able to get a room in August, you might find that there are rooms available if you call after September 1st.
